I have been working at Y2k for 18 months now, and it was a pretty senior telecom position.

1st I think/sure that there will be only minor problems, if any.

2nd I expect corporate spending on IT to not slow down, because:

a) the lockdowns are at only 25% or so of the BIG accounts business out there
b) even under lockdown, new initiatives are still going on, they are just not rolled out
c) 3rd & 4th quarter of the year is historically the highest (intel, MSFT etc)
d) the internet spending

I would be much more afraid of being "out" of the market, than getting in & out.

Keep some cash , sure (new money) but I would not sell anything.

JMHO

Take care
Jean
