Anthony, This is a much deeper side of you than I have seen in other postings; and it is a side that I respect very much. Thank you for such a thoughtful and sincere posting. I have visited the Vineyard, and I am fairly familiar with the area. Many years ago, many lives were lost around the two islands when whaling was a major industry. Now we have this modern day tragedy. As your post alluded: every individual life is special and precious. We must all be careful not to trample on any of those lives. Your post was touching and heartfelt. Thank you once again for that reminder. These high profile tragedies remind us that thousands of equal tragedies occur every minute. Of course, when you have actually been touched by large souls...the impact is more telling. I hear you. Barry
