Nothing wrong with making up words, sometimes a new word is needed. Telegraph. Telephone. Television. Locomotive. Computer. Keyboard. Internet.

Why do you say "of course" you don't like Ulysses and Finnegan's Wake? They are difficult to read, but is that a reason for disliking them?

Shakespeare, of course, made up numerous words. I read somewhere that he used several times as many different words in his writing as the Bible used.
