Yep, that is why the Democratic establishment in Texas has been so favorable in its attitude towards Bush, because he replaced a good governor and did a below average job. It is fun watching great minds at work!

My friends are distressed about the "robin hood" legislation and they blame Bush for it.... basically its a property tax issue for those that don't know... do you live in Texas? What is your take on that? My biggest problem with him is the pro-choice thing, its really my only issue. If he is anti-choice he should say it, his record says it. But, he skirts the matter when it comes up I feel. I'm afraid hes going to get in there and put in a bunch of pro-lifer supreme court justices and then we are back to the 1950s. There is something really sneaky/shifty about changing the subject and not discussing this matter openly, since it is of such key concern.
