thks for the great reply. I am reading my butt off on this thread and others. I should be setup with mb by the last week of July. I have a diamond viper agp 16mb card, paid a little extra at time of purchase but wanted more ram than the standard 8mb.

I also watch the chat room activetrader during the day and will also have mbtrading chat on when I am active.

I will seriously look at ADSL in my area.

thks for your response and back to reading these message boards

I just checked with my internet provider and here is what I found out about speed.

I can't get ADSL because I live outside of their range. They only offer it within 3 miles distance of where they are located. I could move but would rather not at least not yet.

No Cable

They do have ISDN for 59.95 per month. The speed is 128k or double my current 56k speed. Do you think this is the way to go considering my situation. The good news is that I can use this also for a telephone line. This means I can drop my regular telephone service. If I were to do this then the extra cost per month by ugrading would be an additional 17.00. Not bad. Do you see any disadvantages to this setup?
