that changed in early 1998, when I realized the BS I was being feed, by so called Y too Kay experts.

For at least it's entire existence, software projects (particularly large ones) tend to be delivered late & buggy.

In your memory or experience has Microsoft or IBM or (choose whatever software vendor) EVER delivered a significant product on time?

For certain there's a LOT of Y2K bull floating around... but the fundamental dynamics of software projects... late, over budget & buggy... still hold.

Unless, I've missed something...?
