by the way it didn't work. I clicked on message center, then file, then it disappeared before I could check a file directory.

I am just learning too. Michael.. If you are reading this message on the thread then it is already too late...for everyone else..no chance because for some reason SI will only let Michael file this message...not that any one would want to<g>.

Michael...I lied a little..you can find this message in the trash. Just go to the message center...pull down menu upper right..and then click on trash..you will see the message and an option to file. Click on file and you will see a list of folders ..or none..it depends on what you have previously created.

Side tracking a little.

You should make your folders first..before you need them..another minor irritation<g> as you can not make them and file at the same time.

Back on track

Click on file message and you will see your ponder folder. Put a check in the ponder folder and it is saved. If you wait 48 hours it will be too late..the trash man comes.

Also

You can file a message before you read it on the thread if you click on the number in red at the top of the screen..next to inbox. It will take you to the message center and you can file both thread and PMs.

Now...maybe we can talk SI into making this option available for any thread post to anyone. Why restrict it to only the user for which the post is addressed?? Sometimes other users will want to file messages for pondering but SI does not make the option available.
