Correction: 1 Mbps downstream, not 1GB Ali, my friend wasn't the one who erred, I erred. I typed 1GB when I should have typed 1 Mbps. I've mentioned Mbps DSL before on this thread, so why I incorrectly typed 1GB this time, I don't know. Thanks for correcting this. Regarding content independent, sure the portals want people to connect anyway they can to their sites. That was exactly my point. Duke had an interesting post regarding cable and point of control. It was a good read. I appreciate the correction, but the way you corrected, prompts me to ask you to be politer when you refer to my friends. Thanks, Amy J
