Y'know looking at this morning's posts I am reminded of one of those scientific papers I read a while back, that was looking forward to the future when organ transplants would be extended to include BRAIN transplants.

The point that was made was the surprising cost of such transplants. The need for brains to fit the cranium was generally for about 1.34 pounds of Brain per occasion. But the amazing thing was the cost of the organ to be transferred. Doctors, Engineers, Architects and Geologists brains were all fairly reasonable but the cost of an average joe type of brain was to be over $2000 per LB.
The writer when questioned about the accuracy of his forecast simply said "Do you know how many average joe's we have to go through to get a pound of brains"???
