Hi Jan,

>> I am sure that you already know this, but just in case -- Lcos, shares outstanding; 44M, float; 30M, short; 1.5M.

I am sorta following your strategy and am arranging to modify my net trading a/c size.

re Lycos, the only thing I see propping up its price is hopes for a buyout at a premium. I think that is a dream that will not come true.

About acct size. I think 100k is large enough to make a sizable bet for short term trading. If one makes the right trades, then profits of $2k to $5k per trade are quite possible. If one makes bad bets, then no account size will work. It will all be lost.

LCOS is behaving itself, at last. Increased short to 1200 shares. Also sold the last of the SCI at 55.
