DCF, I have to say, the level of discussion on these political threads is so poor its hard to stay focused.

The point of the Robin Hood topic is the principle of the thing. Taxing the rich to pay for poor schools... is this the right approach, and if it is, should it be phased in etc. This Robin Hood taxation issue turned a huge number of people I know against Bush... it could be that Austin feels it more, I don't know.

You barged in without reading the topic at hand with some really simplistic opinions, well you know some people in Texas that are not concerned about property values, so what? Does that mean you think the Robin Hood approach is a good one and we should all be unconcerned with property values? Therefore your stance is that Robin Hood taxation for schools is the right thing to do? Well we have a national school crisis so maybe Robin Hood is the way to solve the education issue nationally then - ok?

Is it too much to ask you to read back just a few posts and gain some familiarity with the topic before the inevitable "you are amoral" insults start? BTW you win no support for your cause with this attitude... you turn people away in fact.
