The discrepancy in the amount of DVD shipped this year might be that CUBE's 1 million total includes both consumer and PC, but the 30% and 7 million figure is only for consumer.

I have a friend who is deciding which sales job to accept, and he wants to go to a company with a bright future, and a product with growing demand. One of the companies he has been offered is TIVO, and he has asked my opinion, so I am asking the opinion of the thread. Is TIVO for real or will its products become obsolete in the manner of Iomega?
