the ta letter i get in toronto suggests protecting profits...with that i am trying to sell some oils i made $ on and selling a call or two on my nickel stocks..

i am also trying to buy some abx calls...i figure if some capitulation in the mkt comes, gold still will move...given that i feel like throwing in the bear towel, a capitulation must be near <g>

depends on which ones you own. exporters heavily exposed to the US dollar and US consumer will get smacked. additionally, much of the coming rise in the yen has already been priced into the US ADRs for this move. Moves of 100 to 200% in the Japanese shares since last Oct will be sold into. don't foregt they are not in the late stages of a mania bull. they know stocks can and will fall. They WILL sell. I expect Japanese shares to retrace 90% of this recent rally. ADRs maybe only 70%

we'll see. BUt I certainly wouldn't want to own any Japanese banking issues until the storm had cleared.

Japan appears to be completing a rt shoulder tonight.... what is to come????
