I know people on this thread don't like the word Barron's mentioned, but would suggest you read Alan Abelson column in next week's paper. Seems that the companies with the most "secure" system of handling e-commerce transactions are coming out of the "woodwork". Seems that everyone doesn't think that WAVX has a lock on this industry. ***Please note WAVX isn't mentioned in the article****

ekn, settle down. The drop isn't that important.

WAVX's fundamentals haven't changed. None of the following things has occurred:
1. AOL sold all of its WAVX stock
2. HP broke off all licensing agreements with WAVX
3. Intel introduced a new hardware solution
4. There is a large security hole in the Embassy design

Now, if any of these events had occurred and there was a corresponding drop in the stock price, then I would be concerned. But this is just the seasonal ebb and flow of the stock price. Short-term fluctuations while scary, really aren't important (unless you are faced with a margin call, but then that is your problem).

This is the market's way of telling you that you are watching your stocks too closely. Take a break and don't look at it for another 2 months.

ekn: You indeed missed the message, my friend. The nice thing about being a long time WAVX long, is that I can go fishing with friends, or spend my days engaged in any activity or field of endeavor that pleases my soul, and guess what? It doesn't matter a wit what you or Cosmo, or Effluvia or any other charming short poster thinks or feels or says! In the grand scheme of things you will have wasted your time bitching angrily and unconvincingly for nought.

In sum, don't be such an irretrievably angry lad (lass?). Enjoy life! And good luck with your investing.

Carpe Diem,

Wooly
