anyone else here notice the statement they have twenty million subscribers?
The paper quoted AOL President and Chief Operating Officer
Bob Pittman, as saying the new service was part of the company's
strategy to develop a multi-brand portfolio of services.
AOL has around one million subscribers in Britain and more
than 20 million subscribers worldwide.

Is this Pittmans way of preannouncing a blow out quarter regarding subscriber growth. I am of the understanding they have 18mm total subscribers. If growth is projected to be 750,000 new subs in q4 then if the 20mm number is accurate, then they more than doubled concensus. I would also like to add that flies in the face of what Blodgett has been very vocal on..
Any one care to add their 2 cents to this?

Doesn't this hurt earnings a little. But is also keeps the customer.
