If China decided to invade Taiwan, there won't be a damn thing we could do about it. China is just too big and well armed to mess with. The market would probably ignore it since most Americans think Taiwan is part of China anyway (historically true).

Wish Stratfor.com was online.
They said a month ago that Taiwan would attempt to take advantage of the rift between the U.S. and China. The bombing of the Chinese Embassy and the U.S. liberation of Kosovo (and now potentially Montenegro) from Yugoslavia.
