The Taiwan situation will be left to the Chinese to sort out. In plain text this means China might have to call Taiwan's bluff and go in. Washington will most likely bury their head in the sand. No use in making a big deal out of it. No political gain possible either. The best we can do is welcome the money that foreigners send over here and sell them some more weapons to help bolster their security.
