Hi Steven, interesting to know you also were a fan of Traven's. I had almost forgotten about him. Now I feel like digging through the boxes of books in my basement, instead of packing, as I should be.

Ooooooo, just realized that not having a basement at our new house means I am going to have to put it all on shelves, as the attic won't be a suitable environment. The last time I had everything on shelves, they lined all my hallways and everyone had to walk sideways. And I've collected even more since then.

Many of my old books are too old (and too new) to be happy living on shelves, old paperback books from the 1930's, 1940's, 1950's and 1960's, on that crappy paper that turns orange-brown and crumbles into dust when it's exposed to light.

I wouldn't bet on it. I have been having a rich wknd in N-space, and I'm just stealing a coupla winks on the home threads.

And I'm still bummed that the real prize, 45678, got away. Palindromes are nice, but Full House palindromes are nicer. Straights and flushes are my favorites.
