t2k: It could happen as you laid out. But, I think MSFT follows through and moves higher first. If one *knew* what was going to happen and when, investing would be easy. I'll admit that MSFT has ran up far faster than I gave it room for. So I have a strong feeling I'll be out of my calls far earlier than ~Sept, which is when I was planning on holding until.

Another thing on Y2K fears: The people I know who have been y2k doomsayers (hoarding food, etc), have had their investment money in gold for quite some time. You can't sell too early to beat these folks (who are, I admit, on the extreme fringe).
