The small 240K player then remains on their system to play back any other inChorus messages sent via email. There are a number of important synergies between Softlink's software and the Macintosh platform. First, and most fundamentally, Apple has positioned its new product lines as dedicated Internet communications tools. As state-of-the-art Internet software applications, inChorus and VOICELink enable Mac users to more fully realize their systems' potential. Second, Macs in many cases have been the platform of preference within the design and multimedia communities.
