We go away for a week's vacation in Denver and then I learn this morning that Raza quits and something (not sure what) has happened to Bartiromo. I am sure that the AMD crowd will see both as positive for AMD (since they see everything as good for AMD).

Seriously, what happened with Raza? Sounds pretty serious when there is that big a rift between Jerry (Everything's coming up Roses) Sanders and his chief technology/business guy. If Raza was not as hopeful about filling Dresden with chip orders, it sound's awfully late in the game to have second thoughts. Wonder what Raza knows that's not public information.

Missed all the hoopla over Intel's earning's reports, but the Denver Post reported that Intel was optimistic about the second half. Nice vacation when you come back worth more than when you left. By the way, Colorado was spectacular (scenery) and Denver was quite a nice city. Huge growth in the tech sector is highly visible there. New buildings going up everywhere (in their already large Tech Center and all around the city).

Regards,
Burt
