bearcub - I played golf a couple of years back with a retired air force officer - he'd bought several thousand Bre-X shares at $2.50 approx and sold at $225, I think. He believed the story, and as a stock market beginner thought he was very clever - offered all sorts of advice. Maybe he bought Claude's shares hypothetically.

I would have had no feelings of remorse if I'd ridden the Bre-X bandwaggon too - in fact I made a tidy sum a long time ago over a VSE gold play which turned out to be a scam - salted cores. The point I'm making is that Clude (apparently) thought it was too good to be true - he was correct - and should not be desparaged for giving correct advice - even thought he missed the boat. EDIT - see that Claude has responded - and you too - will let you sort it out - but the gist of your post is that it's OK so long as you make money and get off the bandwagon in time - well that's true too - caveat emptor and all that. d
