How do you propose to determine what is bonafide and what is not bonafide? It is my thinking that bonafide means it can be hit at anytime, which it can. One thing they should look at is implementing a 10 second flash rule similar to selectnet. AT least ECN's do not give stock ahead or decline messages, I really hate that. Specialists should also be addressed on the NYSE and AMEX. The NASDAQ with the advent of ECN's is more black and white than the wild wild west....wait, the wild wild west is NASDAQ BB's......when will we get electronic execution of those? If you want to open up issues how about the most insane rule we have in the market...the uptick rule. We are not allowing the market to function are we? Can you imagine needing a downtick to go long? Will it ever end? At least I know I can hit those ECN's or the island book when that stock is imploding, fake or not.
