The reason that there is not a buy rec from a big boy firm is that research is what helps create investment banking fees...Russ has done an absolutely incredible job building GO2NET without the help of anyone on wall street...,.Now that he has the help of uncle Paul Allen he will eventually get noticed...Once you engage an investment banking firm, you are forced to run everything thru them..Russ has made fantastic acquisitions(most recently authorize.net) by using valuations he and his team have come up with without anyone from the investment community helping him...As GNET continues to execute their plan, the street will be forced to recognize their meteroic growth. Keep the faith,we have all been greatly rewarded for our financial commitment to Russ and his incredible team.

Larry,

Thank you for the link, I don't know how I missed that, I read every message posted to this thread.

Your comments are very insightful and informative. I think I have now gained a bit of knowledge of how the biggies work and why the coverage has not happened.

Right now GNET is being covered by Black and Co., ING Baring Furman Selz LLC., Needham and Co., Pacific Crest Securities. Not exactly the big boys, but it is 1 more than 3 months ago.
