I return your affection. I too have been in politics since the early '60s and was very active, along with my wife. I can only speak for one man, myself, and have never had a problem with considering women on an equal basis and have always respected the opinions and contributions to society of sensible women. The only problem I have is with some women who insist that all men are worthless and need to be mistreated to make them respect all women. This sort of attitude just will not work for either of us. I have a great deal of respect for your views and we agree on many issues. I don't think you should put the burden on only Republican men. We, traditionally, are more honest while the democrats give lip service to women to secure their votes and do very little to follow through on their promises. And, please remember that there on good and bad men in both camps and the same can be said for women. I will only jump on women who foster such beliefs that abortion is a method of birth control, and that they should rule the world. I think it is important that we work together in a mutual admiration society. I have never used the words "shut up" to any one regardless of sex but have denounce both men and women whose views I adamantly disagree with. I have the same thing done to me so, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Stay sweet. That's one of the most endearing qualities of femininity. TD
