I do vaguely recall this incident. I had forgotten about it. Still, Ed allowed the $100 Million extrapolation (more precisely: 25,000 unit sales in 1999) be published in two press releases. Did Ed feel his brother was low-balling the number at $80-90 mil?:^)

Later, we were told that 1998 year end revenue numbers were changed from some fat figure (I forget exactly what it was, but it was many millions of dollars) because of an accounting change. I'd suspect that had they not changed their accounting practices when they did, they would have been sued right out of business by now. Their old accounting practices appear to have been dangerously inappropriate.

I wonder what other factors at Xybernaut remain dangerously inappropriate?

I am not 'short' Xybernaut, and don't plan to learn about shorting any time soon. Though I remain interested in the possibilities for growth, I do see a long-term sinking trend for this stock before a turnaround can occur. I think I'm getting wiser.

Shoe.
