Thanks for the encouragement! I'll look into NT but it's at most a prince to me. I did own some BAY sometime back.

One thing I didn't mention in my posting about LEAPS was the volatilities. Since you are buying options, you should expect MORE risks. I assumed everybody knows that :) So the hidden line is, if QCOM drops 10%, QCOM options (call) could easily drop 30% or more depends on time premium, in/out of money etc. For 2000 leap calls, I'd be really careful.
