JVC's viewfinder - fuzzy thinking?

I would have gone with a maximum-sized virtual image - that is the strength of the CyberDisplay. Instead, their design makes the display conform to the conventional format, as if it's just a substitute.

This may not create the 'buzz' I was expecting from the first product. For example, an individual posted to the Yahoo! message board that he was impressed with the color viewfinder on the new JVC camcorder. Unfortunately, the models in question have monochrome viewfinders. An honest mistake <g> - but, if such an ardent Kopin fan passes over it in the store, the CyberDisplay camcorder obviously doesn't stand out against the field.

Digital cameras will be next; they should be a lot more impressive.

Bush Brother Makes Big One - Day Profit

nytimes.com

Regarding the July 19, 1999 sale:

He [Neil Bush] exercised 15,000 of his 20,000 options that day; the exercise price is given as being $13 a share. He sold at $33.25, netting $495,745 after a hefty commission to Wells Fargo. What doesn't jive is that "he listed his cost on his tax return as $324,375" which corresponds to an exercise price closer to $21 than $13. ???

Since the story about the JVC design win was in the Wall Street Journal and on the wires before the open of trading, this information was available to all. CSFB had already mentioned it in a report a week earlier, as discussed on this thread.
