Kemble: SG Cowen Loves DELL....

In a report released at 8am EST they said...

DELL: The Bottom Line Action Idea

-Management visit reinforces optimism....upgraded to Strong Buy

Here are a few highlights:

-Q2 Tracking Strongly
-Bellwether Americas Corporate Sector Performing Well
-Direct Sales Model Provides Increased Opportunity for Higher-Margin UpSell
-Asia Pacific Lifting Strongly; Europe Looks Under Control
-Consumer Thrust Still in High Gear
-Raising Price Target from $50 to $55

Conclusion:

<<We have little doubt that, after having struggled a bit Q4 and Q1, almost all of the cylinders in the finely tuned DELL engine are now running smoothly. In short, while there still could be some Y2K risk (but keep in mind January year-end), we think it's more important to get on the boat. Our price target is $55, the stock's previous high.>>

This all sounds good to me <G>....some of the analysts seem to really get it ..!! Lets hope the Fund Managers do too..!!

Best Regards,

Scott
