Jan, thanks for rescuing Pepper! If I didn't have Tucker and Lady
already, I'd consider her. BTW, when I got Lady it took Tucker
a couple of weeks before he accepted her. But now, years later,
they are still jealous for my attention.

*** OFF-TOPIC ***

Jan,
Please look into submitting "Pepper" to a rescue organization. Dog Rescues are able to match the dog with a loving family. You might want to keep this in mind as a "last resort". Here are several links to rescue organizations. I'm sure there is one near SJ:

cheta.net

cockerspanielrescue.com

rescuers.com

Please keep me informed as to how it goes.

Jan:

Keep her. Sammie will learn to like, or tolerate, her.

We have a 70 lb. Lab and a little terrier type rat dog, and they get along just fine now. If she needs a home, and you have the time, energy and love, take her in.
