Let me get this straight...

If sales in all U.S. companies were flat year-over-year
on average, but there were year-over-year improvements in computational power (however that is measured by the govt.),
then the reported GDP growth would be positive?

Would the lower, real value for the GDP suggest that the Fed has more leeway for cutting rates than if the economy were really racing along as strong as the chained-dollar value suggests?
