And please do not forget, Taiwan does NOT have a self-sufficient economy. Economic block for 3-6 months will bring it down, IMHO. Yiwu, I just perused through the thread and am very disappointed with your perspective. I understand your patriotic bent,,,but as we all know..nothing is perfect. The US government is imperfect and we all bitch and moan about it. The Chinese government sure as hell ain't perfect. Obviously there are proponents of Taiwan being a part of China,,,,but in this forum,,you're dealing with people who love and cherish their freedom in a democratic world. China is not a democratic world. If you were in China, you would not even be able to discuss much of this openly. So, most of the people you encounter here will be supporters of a free Taiwan. China has no right to block Taiwan...if they do,,,it's an open and outright attack and, yes, the rest of the world should raise their arms and help. By the way,,,,I hate to throw this in your face,,,but if China is so fabulous and should be the ruler of the world....why are you not there? regards.. mike
