I believe we are near that bottom, bwdik. I don't "give recommendations", but can give a list from where you can start to do your own DD.
I'd look at all members of XAU. I hold HM ECO BMG NEM and more. I really think the "good money" will be made in silver.
I also have a touch of bullion at home, and would not live without it.

Fitz,

I know Richard may mean well and believe what he's saying, but I would also pay some heed to opposing opinions such as Hutch's and Tom Byron.

And pay special attention to the XAU chart.

decisionpoint.com

Get a strong close above 60 and you might be seeing the beginning of a trend reversal

Note that at this period last year, the XAU hit 48 during the same period the Dow was correcting so hard.

Tom and I expect a repeat of this scenario, minus another LTCM style liquidity crisis.

When economies are contracting, as they do after a market crash, people want cash, not stocks or physical assets.

Now when the Fed loosens the money supply, THEN you can look at gold as a hedge against this added liquidity.

Just my thoughts.. Good luck.

Regards,

Ron
