My only concern is that if I wait till Wednesday, there will be no shares. I'm starting to build a small position now just in case.

So your saying that if one was long on IDTC, sell as soon as NTOP starts trading?
Are many shorts waiting to do this or is this normal procedure on shorting Parent(although IDT retains 60% of NTOP)when child goes public?

TIA,
SjS

I disagree. The time to short IDTC is now while you can get upticks. Once that IPO comes out, it will go into freefall. And it might be too late to short. However, in all likelihood, the stock will a little quickly and give you yet another opportunity to short, but it will probably be below $20.

Its amazing that every parent company who brings an internet sub public falls after the ipo, and yet ppl still pump money into the parent disregarding history, and forgetting what has happenned so many times in the past.
