Please add:

1. the borders back around the messages!

2. the new messages in RED!

3. Please better differentiate the lists of messages. Everything seems to run together.

My 2 cents: The old site is much more user friendly. I believe that this new format looks like a canned "cookie cutter" format like many other sites. To me it is more amatuer-looking then the old site. Remember we come to SI for information therefore we prefer quick routes to information and ease of use (simple), not fancy looking and hard to use.

RE: "Go" box at top of every page:

I find the "Go" box to be a bit confusing myself. When a ticker is entered, a detailed quote and recent PRs appears on the screen. When 'Quotes' is selected from the pull down menu (or from the customized toolbar if that function is chosen), this screen appears:

beta.siliconinvestor.com

The "Go" box is therefore redundant though it gives the quote with one click (and the PRs) while one must click first on "Quotes" then enter the quote and submit in the alternative.

I think that if the "Go" box remains, it should provide some unique source of information besides just a quote and PR history. Perhaps a composite of information on a ticker would be useful. A complete 'Overview' which could be accessed with one click such as:

-Detailed quote
-20 day chart (with ability to change the chart parameters)
-PRs
-Company profile (like we have on the old SI which gives the company's own release on what they do, and their sector, etc.)

Also, if the "Go" box remains in any form, WHY DOESN'T IT SAY "Go2"?!?! Not only is that really what it's doing - going TO something - but, well... you know... <gg>

Thanks...

Bryan,

The gray looks good on the bottom ticker info and for the message 'Responding to.'
