Les, ?People make the assumption that the Web is dominated by this Amazon sort of model, but the traditional players are getting much smarter and moving much more quickly,? said David Pecaut, who heads the e-commerce practice at Boston Consulting Group. I think that partially explains the on-going weakness in the nutz. Many bullish inet pundits have discounted the "traditional" retailers. I think that is a mistake. Multi-billion dollar sales organizations have a lot more meat to them than simple muilti-billion dollar market cap companies. It will be very interesting to watch what happens with WMT's new web release later this year.
