But yes, it makes sense to offer a 'charts' button in the toolbar customization like the portfolio button. I agree. It would be a good addition to the toolbar customization options. On a related subject, some folks have asked that the toolbar be placed both at the bottom and the top of the page. Two reasons have been given: 1. It's too hard to scroll back to the top after reading a 10-msg thread. 2. There's a navigation bar on the bottom in the old SI. I would think the first problem could be solved by putting a "Return to top" link at the bottom of the 10-msg thread display. The problem with repeating the toolbar is that it's a custom option. Any such "option" slows down page rendering. With so many other requests for customization, it would be a pity to use that precious machine time to repeat something that's already displayed.
