Didn't they find a piece of his landing gear? They are meant to take Extreme punishment so it looks more and more that he centerpunched the Ocean. I get a kick out of that Life Magazine photo that shows JFK working hard at his desk in the Oval office and as you pan backward, you see Little John-John playing underneath with a "you caught me " expression on his face.It's priceless. As I remember, John-John was much more the center of attention than his sister Carolyn at that time. He was a very precocious child, and not a bit taken aback by all the attention he received. SjS
