I don't have much of a problem with this at all. It's not reached the heights of popularity and is not in too many magazines as the best strategy to pursue. Besides only a few 'really good' companies can do this sort of thing - so your risk is considerably less. I think there are mutual funds that have this criterion (or something close to it). DIVBX may be one - not sure.
