Bill, thank you. I think the smart US public will not support this kind of war. I don't want that war either if I can avoid, it is this stupid LiDengHui, and maybe some of his followers, want it so badly. China do not need to flex its military muscle for no purpose. But if Taiwan gov. forces China to, I don't think we have any other choices.

I think you misunderstand Taiwan as Vietnam or Korea. USA has military bases all over the world but not in Taiwan. We will fight our own fight if it really goes that far. USA can sell us arms though, just like Russian sell their arms to China. However, I don't want sound jingoistic. I don't want war.
