Cirruslvr - Re: Rambus delays...

Here's my favorite bit:

"To keep pace with rival industry developments until Direct RDRAM prices meet more mainstream levels, Intel is considering support for a PC133 SDRAM interface, a relatively easy upgrade of the existing PC100 interface now in wide use. MacWilliams said Intel could modify an existing chipset architecture and bring a PC133-compatible device to market as early as the first quarter 2000. The chipset would support existing DIMM module architectures. While Intel provided no specifics, sources said either the upcoming 810e low-end chipset, higher-end Camino 820, or both, could be modified to support PC133."

Ouch!
