The higher priced "premium" version of Office 2000 is selling especially well.

That's not really surprising. It's a marketing trick that they're apparently well aware of. A couple of years ago, I heard that they had done a survey that showed few buyers of "Office Pro" (the prior top-of-the-line package) ever used Access. That was the only difference between "Pro" and "Standard" but businesses and retail customers were buying it just because they wanted to get the "best" version.

It worked with "Pro" and it sounds like it's still working with "Premium" which is a clever name that plays on that tendency.
