John--

I think there was such a thread at one time with our own resident juvenile as an active poster. As it turned out they didn't have much to say to each other. Imagine that.

I've noticed a shift in the ultra-polly stance lately. Reports of testing failures, replacement systems failures and the like bring demands of "Explain how THIS is a y2k related DATE failure!"

This kind of narrow interpretation of the Year 2000 problem (and how it will affect systems, business, the economy and ultimately society) belies the fact that they don't really understand what the PROBLEM is at all...never did, never will.

This rude comment, of course, from John, who has great credibility as a frequent contributor to the Nostradamus discussion forum.

I think there's room for civilized dialogue from all points of view here.

Don't try to shut Cheeky out. Won't work, anyhow.

If you find it a waste of time to respond to someone, then don't!!!

Whenever I come to this thread I find it filled with exchanges with you know who.....

Why not just agree to disagree and "go your separate ways??

Cheers,

THC
