Rev. Growth:

IBM just reported overall rev. growth of 16%.

According to the following link, analysts expect
a 15% rev. growth rate for the year ending 12/99, and
an 11.2% growth rate over the next 5 years - so if
either of these targets are raised due to the last
two quarters' higher-than-predicted rev. growth, that
should help the stock.

1Q99 Rev. Gr. = 15%
2Q99 Rev. Gr. = 16% - an increasing revenue growth trend!

Also, the link shows that out of the 22 analysts
following IBM, all but 2 of them estimated this Q's
earnings at 85-89 cents, only 1 estimated 90, and only one
estimated 92. We beat the average est, of course, but
also beat 21 of the 22 estimates making up that average.

Upward revisions, anyone? :-)
