Thank you for the definition..I was thinking that if I were a student pilot that is where I would fail...I mean flying cross country! But it seems almost as if it might be necessary to get proper exposure to possible problems in instrument reading. I mean the only way you become a good pilot, IMHO, is to survive problem situations.
