"..how do you feel about all of the known murders and other felons who have been released because of quirky technicalities" It stinks. We are the wealthiest country in the world, have the largest population of prisoners behind bars (including Red China), one of the higher rates of recidivism. We have individuals who singly own the total wealth of countries, put men on the moon 30 years ago, and promote an economic value system that impovishes morals, community and family values. The gun is worshipped by the poorest who see it as a way to get what's denied them through force, and as the peacekeeper (status quo keeper) of choice by those who have more than they need... dangle a new Lexus in front of anyone's nose long enough and they'll reach for the keys.
