CNBC just reported IBM was up 1 1/4 despite some cautious comments from IBM CFO. Just a few trades as it was halted for the most part.

The most pleasant surprise was the spectacular rise in S/390 sales. This is very bullish for the future since these tend to generate lots of future software and services sales. It appears that IBM's share of the internet server market is expanding much faster than its rivals'.
