sounds fine to me -- but I am sure it will prove to be quite low. emerging gorilla. i think that by the end of this quarter, we'll see $5 estimates for next year.

by the way, no comments on the call (yet at least) regarding other opportunities for wireless communication (e.g., microsoft venture)

Frank. Factor in realistic growth. You're looking at $5.20.

Unc Frank--too low!! apply a 35% growth rate to $0.85 and I get
$4.44 for FYE 9/2000. 50x $4.44=$222. And, the Christmas quarter will be huge if they get the parts.

Here's some news from Dow Jones:

"...In other earnings news, Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) posted third-quarter operating net of 75 cents a share, compared with analysts' view of 63 cents. The company said component shortages hurt its production and limited margin growth in the third-quarter. Additionally, Qualcomm said the component shortages may hurt its fourth-quarter results.

In response to the news, shares of Qualcomm plummeted to 152 1/2, said Instinet, from the regular session close of 158 11/16, up 7/16, or 0.3%, for the day..."
