MileHigh,

This is interesting, because PC133 might actually become viable from Via (no pun intended), INTC must now look at it!? I thought RDRAM was the winner in price/performance camp?! Why the change, that's my question??

Never give a sucker an even break, and never let a competitor gain a foothold in your business. I've had to react to "perceived" competition before when I knew that it was just a short-term, stopgap move for a non-existent problem. No big deal. Crush them, then move on.

Dave

MH/Just a reminder--WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKIN'

I am now going to ask you the same question?

Why the change--there is not enough Rambus to go around, instead of giving VIA an advantage for the short-term, they beat them at their own game. Intel would be using an interim chipset now matter what--instead of the 100 it may be the 133.

And Dell by the way has already committed to 2/3. committed=contract=bought and paid for.
