Re DELL repurchase of shares.

Thank you Bachman. I stand corrected. I forgot that last year Dell sold puts, I believe around 22K contracts expired in Nov 1998 with strike price of 22 1/2 (split adjusted). Seems that Dell know how to manage the buy back better than just straight purchase from the open market. Does it look like Dell sell the put and use procede to buy call?
